Emmerich, Germany — May 13, 2025 — Axxence Group today announced a leadership transition as Ron Honing stepped down as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on May 6, 2025. The Board of Directors has appointed Michael Klamm as the new Group CEO, effective immediately.

Michael brings a wealth of leadership experience in the Fragrance & Flavor sector, having successfully driven innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth in his previous roles at Lyondellbasell, Renessenz and Symrise. His extensive expertise in navigating complex markets and fostering international collaboration will be instrumental in strengthening Axxence’s presence globally. Michael joined Axxence in November of 2024 as President and CEO of Axxence Corporation in the USA.
Bob Kleinhenz will take over the responsibility as Commercial Executive Vice President and will lead the global sales team. Bob joined Axxence in April 2025 as Executive Vice President of Axxence Corporation in the USA after the acquisition of Purely Natural, LLC, of which he was the former President and CEO. Bob brings over 25 years of comprehensive experience across all facets of the Flavor and Fragrance industry.
