Michael Klamm joins the Axxence Group at a pivotal moment in its growth trajectory, as the company continues to expand its global presence following the recent strategic acquisition of Natural Advantage in the United States.
Michael brings a wealth of leadership experience in the fragrance and flavor sector, having successfully driven innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth in his previous roles at LyondellBasell, Renessenz, and Symrise. His extensive expertise in navigating complex markets and fostering international collaboration will be instrumental in strengthening Axxence’s global presence.
About Michael Klamm
With more than 30 years of experience in the chemical, fragrance, and flavor industries, he has held senior positions in Europe, Asia, and the United States at leading companies such as Symrise, Renessenz, and LyondellBasell. He began his career at BASF, where he developed a strong focus on customer relationships and gained valuable international experience that shaped his professional development. In his most recent role as Senior Vice President at Symrise, he was responsible for global procurement for all of Symrise’s chemical production sites, as well as for the global digital transformation of procurement. He is known for his strategic vision and team-oriented leadership style. He has fostered innovation and cultivated partnerships that have led to sustainable growth. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from DHBW Mannheim, Germany.
